PALMER - From an English surname meaning "pilgrim". It is ultimately from Latin palma "palm tree", since pilgrims to the Holy Land often brought back palm fronds as proof of their journey.

My husband and I married May 28, 2012. The theme of our wedding were peacock feathers with hues of blue, green and purple. We have a beautiful floor vase filled with peacock feathers from our wedding in our living room. Every time I walk by them, or see peacock feathers, I feel a flood of emotions. I am instantly taken back to that very beautiful day, filled with all those we love so dearly that celebrated with us, especially those who have since passed away.
