For most people, there's something noticeable going on. It's in the air - that slight chill in the early morning or as the shadows of the evening grow sooner than the night before. It's written on the trees - the beginnings of a transformation from hearty green leaves to blazing reds, oranges, and yellows. It's in the sky - the haze of hot days gives way to brilliant blue and puffy white clouds. Farmers work on their fall harvests. Wildlife prepares for the winter ahead. Children return to the classroom (well, at least in normal, non-pandemic years they do). Swimming pools are closed and boats are taken out of the water and put away for another season.

This change comes every year. It's called autumn. It's natures time to wind down and transition from the vibrance and bustle of summer to the sleepy cold of winter. For people, autumn is like a feast of the senses. The smell of a fire on a chilly evening, the sight of brilliant foliage, the taste of autumn favorites like hot apple cider and pumpkin pie. The sound of a flock of birds overhead, migrating south for the coming months.

Fashion also undergoes transitions with the changing seasons. Autumn brings out the layering of clothes and thicker fabrics. Chunky sweaters, vests, blazers, corduroy pants and boots are just a few of the transformations in fashion as we adjust to the chilly autumn weather. When styles change, so do their accessories.

Unlike many people, I love change. A life without change is stagnant and stale. Which, of course, is why we have jewelry (lol)! Chic by Christina represents change, growth, empowerment, and new beginnings. From their bold designs to the textures and gemstones, Chic by Christina jewelry represents you and your changing story.

This autumn is featuring bold designs, distinct textures, exclusive gemstones and vivid color combinations that complement the season. Chic by Christina's pillar is their unique designs that are not replicated or found anywhere else. They illustrate you and are meant to be ever-changing and bold. Dare to be different. Wear you.

One other change I've decided to implement this fall is to go from just supporting one organization year-round (The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) to changing the charitable organization each month. As I've mentioned in the past, when I formed Chic by Christina, I was focused on the LLS because of my dad's battle with leukemia. However, as a nurse who is constantly treating patients with a variety of illnesses, I decided its important to incorporate other worthy causes that strive to advance treatments and search for a cure of other diseases. My hospital experience has also opened my eyes to the many ways (often unnoticed) that people are faced with other challenges such as improper nutrition, lack of resources and basic things we all take for granted. Therefore, as time goes on, I will extend my support to other organizations that focus on these disparities. The inclusion of various causes will expand Chic by Christina's reach to impact as many lives as possible. I truly believe that together, we can all make a difference and make our world a better place. Who is with me?
